One week since returning to the AHL just before the NHL’s Holiday Roster Freeze kicked in, Adam Brooks and Martin Marincin have once again been recalled by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

While most members of the Leafs organization unplugged over the last week to enjoy the holiday season, Brooks and Marincin were loaned back to the Marlies to partake in two games against the Belleville Senators. With the roster freeze now lifted, and the Leafs set to kick-off a three-game road trip in New Jersey tonight, it’s no surprise the Leafs are bringing an extra forward and defenceman for the ride.
The shuttle between Scotiabank Arena and Coca Cola Coliseum has been getting lots of mileage, with the club making a large sum of transactions between their NHL and AHL affiliate in the first half of this season.
