Maple Leafs Place Mikheyev and Moore on IR, Recall Agostino and Liljegren

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be without another two forwards for the foreseeable future.
In a statement made Saturday afternoon, the club announced that Ilya Mikheyev (wrist) and Trevor Moore (concussion) have been placed on injured reserve. With Andreas Johnsson (leg) on the IR as well, the Leafs are currently missing three forwards from their regular lineup.
After suffering a gruesome injury during last nights game versus the New Jersey Devils, Mikheyev’s agent, Dan Milstein, announced that the Russian winger underwent successful surgery to repair an artery and tendons in his wrist. Mikheyev, who has recorded 23 points in 39 games this season, will be out of the Leafs’ lineup for at least the next three months.

Moore’s timeline is a little less clear, with the club announcing he will be out of the lineup indefinitely.
The 24-year-old has had a difficult rookie NHL season, suffering a shoulder injury on November 15th against Boston and returning to the Leafs’ lineup on December 21st …
